Well, how time has flown! It has been such a pleasure to place some truly world-class works of art in clients’ homes (and museums) and to assist with the paring down of a few collections along the way too. Without question, the highlight of the whole venture has been to meet hundreds of new friends and clients. Whilst I loved working in gallery and auction house roles, the privilege of operating on specific collections with my clients has been a real high point for me. My intention has always been for the collecting journey to be a fun and fruitful experience for all my clients.
Maryam, my wonderful wife, and I had our first conversation about starting a business back in 2014 (with a three-year-old daughter and a bump along the way!). I had loved my role at Waterhouse and Dodd and still work closely with Ray and Jonathan, but I thought it would be a great challenge to start afresh. So, with a leap of faith and the encouragement of family and friends I was able to get started in November 2014. It has been such a huge honour to work with all those clients and colleagues that have been part of our life over the past ten years; thank you. And here’s to many, many more!
